Now available nationwide, with a cashback campaign running through year-end and prize activities worth over 6 million baht combined through September 30, 2026

TrueMoney opened a new scan-to-pay option: starting today, users can link a Visa credit or debit card to the app, select that card as the funding source, and scan to pay QR PromptPay directly at participating merchants. This marks the first time a Visa card can pay via QR PromptPay directly on TrueMoney, a partnership between TrueMoney (under Ascend Money) and Visa.

The steps are quick: link the card, select it as the funding source, scan the QR, check the amount, then confirm in the app. Anyone linking a Visa card and scanning to pay with it for the first time, with a minimum of 100 baht per transaction at a participating merchant, gets 30 baht cashback through December 31, 2026, limited to 1 redemption per person.

There's also a bonus: through September 30, 2026, every scan-to-pay QR PromptPay transaction via Visa or other channels enters a chance to win a gold necklace, cashback, and TrueMoney Coin worth a combined over 6 million baht. Claim it via an in-app notification after a successful payment, up to 10 entries per person per month, alongside the "Easy Scan & Pay Caravan," where TrueMoney and Visa toured the Silom and Asoke areas over 2 full days, covering Silom Soi 10 Market, Talad Lalaisub, the market in front of Silom Complex, and the Srinakharinwirot University market.
