Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip, a 10,000-nit display, launching in China first on Sept 28, with no global market announced yet

HONOR has launched the Magic9 Pro Max in China, with a 200MP "ultra-night" main camera paired with a 200MP telephoto, both with OIS, plus a 50MP ultra-wide camera.

The highlight is a partnership with ARRI, the legendary film camera maker, via the H1 Imaging Chip, enabling ARRI Cinema Mode with ARRI LogC3 support and LUT import, plus a cinema-grade microphone capturing both near and far audio.

Other specs: an 8,800mAh Silicon-Carbon battery with 100W wired/80W wireless charging, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip, a 6.8-inch OLED display at up to 10,000 nits, and IP68/IP69/IP69K water resistance. Currently sold only in China, with no global launch announced.
