Heart rate checked every 5 seconds, HRV sampled 24x more often, a new Readiness Score, a design nearly identical to Series 11; Thai pricing starts at 14,900 baht

The Apple Watch Series 12 focuses mainly on health sensors. The new heart sensor measures every 5 seconds throughout the day (up from periodic readings before), HRV sampling is 24x more frequent, and a new Readiness Score from 0–10 combines activity, training load, vital signs, and sleep.

General-use battery life stays at 24 hours, but outdoor workout tracking rises to 10 hours (+25%), and a 15-minute charge adds 12 hours of use (+50%). It comes in 2 sizes (42/46mm) and 3 materials (aluminum with Ceramic Shield 2, 60% tougher; titanium; and ceramic), with a design barely changed from the Series 11. Thailand pricing starts at 14,900–16,900 baht for aluminum GPS, up to 33,700–35,700 baht for ceramic. Pre-orders are open now, with sales starting September 18.
