GPU twice as fast, an AV1 decoder, a redesigned Siri Remote that can be located, and a role as the hub for smart-home devices; coming to Thailand soon

Apple launched the 4th-generation Apple TV 4K on October 13, 2026, with the A19 chip delivering up to 50% faster CPU and up to 2x faster GPU, plus an AV1 decoder, priced at 10,900 baht in Thailand.

The new Siri Remote adds precision finding and a sound to help locate it, requiring an iPhone Duo, iPhone Air, or iPhone 17 or later (excluding 17e). The highlight is pairing with four HomePod mini 2 units to create 4-speaker surround sound.

Coming to Thailand soon, no date yet. The new remote is sold separately and works with Apple TV HD and previous 4K models.
