7-inch Liquid Retina display, A18 chip, dome-shaped speaker base; no Thailand pre-order yet, and the new Siri AI supports English only at launch

Apple unveiled Apple HomeView at its "Welcome home" event on October 13, 2026 — its first-ever smart-home display, priced at $299, below the $350 the media had estimated.

It features a 7-inch Liquid Retina display, an aluminum body, connected to a dome-shaped speaker base by a tilting stainless steel hinge. It comes in 4 colors — silver, starlight, rose pink, space gray. Its selling point is recognizing up to 6 household members by face, each getting their own home screen, with personal data hidden from others.

The new Siri AI holds deeper conversation, but at launch supports English only, and Thailand isn't yet on the pre-order list.
